The European Le Mans Series’s and World Endurance Championship’s seasons are now fast approaching while more and more practice sessions are being scheduled. This week, PKM Consulting is doing tests at home on the Paul Ricard Circuit. After the ELMS’s official practice sessions on Monday and Tuesday, the FIA WEC’s prologue is now in sight. With numerous innovations.

PKM Consulting was on all fronts at the beginning of the week with several LM P2 cars to take care of. Two ORECA models, fitted with PKM shock absorbers took to the track: Thiriet by TDS Racing’s ORECA 05 which posted the best time in the second lap, and Murphy Prototypes’s, Ibanez Racing’s, Eurasia Motorsport’s and SMP Racing’s ORECA 03R. Actually, Murphy Prototypes achieved the best performance throughout these official tests. SMP Racing also introduced to the press the brand new BR01 LM P2 – also fitted with PKM products. As for Onroak prototypes, two Ligier JS P2 were entered by Algarve Pro Racing and Krohn Racing, while a Morgan LM P2 also participated under the colours of Pegasus Racing.

Practice sessions will continue this Saturday and Sunday at the Paul Ricard Circuit, as part of the FIA World Endurance Championship’s prologue this time. Once again, many prototypes will take to the track with shock absorbers developed by PKM. Amongst those will be four Ligier JS P2, two with G-Drive Racing and two with OAK Racing. KCMG’s ORECA 05 will also be there, just like Signatech-Alpine’s Alpine A450b. Another new car will be expected: the Dome S103 entered by Strakka Racing. Finally, the SARD Morand continues its preparation with the Morgan Evo cars.
